Teaching and cooking with this awesome group of homeschool students was a blast! They were so attentive, helpful and best of all… loved everything! It was great to teach them some Turkish music, history and culture besides cooking together. The students made and enjoyed eating:
- Havuç Salatası (Creamy Carrot Salad)
- Kidney Bean Salad
- Peynirli Tepsi Börek (Layered Pastry stuffed with Feta)
- Mosaic Cake (Chocolate & Graham Cracker Cake)
- Çay (Turkish Tea)

The students did all the work and a fabulous job cooking! One group made the Kidney Bean Salad and Börek.
The other group of students made the Carrot Salad and Mosaic Cake
They all gave the food a thumbs up (and some gave it 2 thumbs up!)
