Such a joy to cook with this group of ladies in Delaware! They were so attentive as I made each dish, thoroughly enjoyed eating everything, and stayed for hours asking questions and learning more about Turkey! Together we made and enjoyed this meal:
- Ezogelin Çorbası (Red Lentil Bride Soup)
- Piyaz (Zesty White Bean Salad)
- Haydari (Minty Yogurt Dip with Walnuts)
- Ispanaklı Tepsi Börek (Feta & Spinach Layered Pastry)
- İrmik Helvası (Semolina Helva Dessert)
- Çay (Turkish Tea)
Bowl of Soup, served with Lemon Wedges

What a fun time we had watching Jale and her assistants cook in the beautiful kitchen of Jaime’s house. Then we got to taste all of the delicious new foods!!! That was the icing on the cake for me. It was great to meet Jale, her sister and mother and good friend, Liz. It truly was an evening to remember!!!

The evening was a unique delightful first for me. The food was delicious, but my favorite was Piyaz salad! Oh yum! And of course, your preparation was made it all go smoothly…blessings your way.
