Tavuk Sote

Chicken Sauté 

  • 1 lb. Chicken Breast, cubed
  • 3 T. Oil (any kind)
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 1 Sweet Red Pepper, chopped
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 T. Tomato Paste
  • ½ c. Water
  • ¼ tsp. Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Red Pepper

 

  1. Heat Oil in a frying pan and add the Chicken pieces. Cover with lid.
  2. As the Chicken starts to cook, add the Onion and Garlic. Keep covered while cooking, but remove lid to stir often to avoid sticking.
  3. When Chicken is cooked, add chopped Peppers & Tomatoes. Cover and continue cooking until everything is soft and bubbly.
  4. Add Tomato Paste, Water & Spices. Cover and allow to simmer until flavors blend fully. (At least 5 minutes if you are in a rush to eat.)
  5. Chicken Sauté is ready to serve immediately. Best served on a bed of Rice Pilaf.
