Flour Halva
- ½ lb. Butter
- 2 c. Flour
- 2 c. Milk
- 2 c. Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Nuts
- In a pot over medium heat, melt Butter.
- Stir Flour in and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring almost constantly.
- In a separate bowl, mix Milk and Sugar together.
- Whisk the Milk/Sugar mixture into the pot with the Butter/Flour mixture. Be careful to blend together smoothly so there are no lumps.
- Roll the dough into balls about the size of a walnut.
- Sprinkle Cinnamon on the top of each ball.
- Add nut of your choice. (Most common nuts used in Turkey are hazelnuts, Pistachios, Almonds, or a piece of Walnut.)
