Turkish Tea Cake

  • ½ c. Oil
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 c. Black Tea, brewed
  • 1 ½ c. Sugar
  • 1 T. Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 2 T. Cocoa
  • 2 c. Flour

 

  1. Mix all wet ingredients together, including the cup of brewed tea.
  2. In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients.
  3. Stir both mixtures together.
  4. Pour into a greased 9×13 baking pan.
  5. Bake at 375oF for ½ hour or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
