Citrusy Lemonade
- 2 Lemons, frozen
- 2 Oranges, frozen
- 1 c. Sugar
- 9-10 c. Cold Water
- Mint Leaves for garnish
- Wash the oranges and lemons well, then freeze overnight.
- Remove fruit from freezer and cut into small wedges (without removing the peel).
- Place fruit pieces in an electric blender along with Sugar. Puree well.
- Empty the puree into a large bowl, pot or pitcher with the Water. Use a spoon to mix well.
- Let rest for 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Choose another large bowl, pot or pitcher to catch the good liquid as you strain the mixture through a sieve or cheese cloth. Squeeze the pulp to ensure all of the good juice gets into the liquid, then discard the pulp.
- Garnish with a sprig of mint and enjoy this refreshing drink!
